What to Expect from Lumecca IPL at R&R
Consultation
Your provider conducts a comprehensive skin analysis to determine if Lumecca IPL is appropriate. Some clients may require spot testing or pre-treatment preparation for safety.
Treatment
Using a specialized surgical blade, your provider gently removes buildup and peach fuzz.
You will wear protective eyewear, and a cooling gel may be applied. The handpiece delivers pulses of light with a warming sensation. Sessions last 20–30 minutes, depending on the area treated.
POST-CARE
Mild redness may appear, typically resolving within hours. Brown spots may temporarily darken and flake off over 5–7 days. Sun protection is essential post-treatment. You can expect brighter, clearer, and more even-toned skin within 1–2 weeks.
